The increase in temperatures, even at high altitudes, has brought the spectacle of the Tofana di Rozes waterfall back to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
A phenomenon which traditionally for the people of Ampezzo signals the arrival of the thaw even at high altitudes because the waterfall is formed by the melting of the snow on the top of Tofana and which this year arrived early, generally happening between May and June, despite the bad weather at Easter.
