From the picturesque mountains to the TV stage: “Bergdoktor” star Mark Keller is currently dancing his way from one “Let’s Dance” round to the next – series colleague Hans Sigl is amazed at Keller’s weekly schedule.

Cologne – Since February 23rd, numerous celebrities and professional dancers have been twirling across the RTL dance floor for the popular TV show “Let's Dance”. “Bergdoktor” actor Mark Keller (58) will also be there in 2024 and he is the oldest participant in the 17th season. He has been dancing from round to round alongside Kathrin Menzinger (35) for several weeks now. He also receives support from his series colleague Hans Sigl (54).

The “Bergdoktor” colleagues met in an Insta-Live for a public conversation with and for their fans. There it emerged that Hans Sigl was partly responsible for Mark Keller's participation in “Let's Dance”. During their conversation, the two chatted a little about Keller's journey on the dance show and the 58-year-old quickly made it clear that it was "no picnic."

Surprisingly, the 54-year-old then drops: “I'm just surprised that I've seen you working seriously for twenty years. Do you understand?". Mark Keller takes it with humor and joins in the laughter of his “Bergdoktor” colleague, who obviously meant it to be funny.

And Hans Sigl adds: “The fact that I can see you working here with concentration and also with respect for things – that suits you.” The fellow actors are currently taking a break from filming “Bergdoktor” and can therefore devote themselves intensively to other activities. While Mark Keller is in front of the camera for “Let's Dance”, Hans Sigl is currently filming for another project.
