Human remains were discovered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, over the weekend, as concern grows over the whereabouts of a missing 19-year-old woman.
The remains, which have not been identified, were found on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the 3000 block of West Galena Street, the Milwaukee Police Department reported.
Milwaukee police are conducting an investigation along with other area law enforcement agencies.

No further details were released, including whether they belonged to a woman.
The area where the remains were found is about 3 kilometers west of where Sade Carleena Robinson, a 19-year-old girl, who is considered a “critical missing person,” was last seen.

was last seen on April 1
in the area of 1800 N. Commerce Street.

The young woman was described as 5 feet tall, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing a black coat, a white hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes. Police did not provide details about the circumstances of her disappearance.
Last week in Cudahy, about 10 miles southeast of Galena, police responded to a report that a leg had been found near Lake Michigan in Warnimont Park.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded and is investigating the incident as a homicide, the agency said.

On Thursday, after obtaining a search warrant, sheriff's deputies went to a residence on Milwaukee's south side and detained a person of interest for questioning.
It is unclear whether that discovery of human remains is connected to those found in Galena
