Silvana Bini is one of the Italian grandmothers who are sweeping social networks making traditional dishes. Known as Nonna Silvi, this 82-year-old Tuscan woman has 2.6 million followers on Instagram, 1.5 million on TikTok and 120,000 subscribers on YouTube, earned by showing easy classic recipes and communicating them with as much energy as sympathy.
One of their best pastas has a pesto that stands out from the Genoese pattern with basil and garlic. Silvi also uses pine nuts and parmesan, but the star of her sauce is pumpkin, accompanied by onion, parsley and pistachio.
