BrandStudio for Corona
At the close of the
Sunsets 2024 season, Cerveza Corona celebrated its last great sunset in Ciudad Universitaria
, where thousands and thousands of people spent an afternoon of enjoyment, relaxation, nature and lots of music by international DJs.
Jan Blonqvist, Sebastien Leger and Arodes made more than 5,000 people
who came to Ciudad Universitaria, CABA, vibrate this past Saturday, April 6. The festival was
attended by Pabels and DJ Karen
, who opened an afternoon of pure music.
With this incredible, sold out event,
Cerveza Corona closed a summer season that toured the entire country
. It started in
Corrientes, Tucumán and Santa Fe
, passed through
Mendoza, Chapadmalal and Córdoba, and arrived at the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
. As if that were not enough, the brand's summer featured the participation of Hernán Cattaneo and three dates of his iconic Sunsetstrip, which thousands and thousands of people enjoyed in Las Palapas, Punta del Este and Ciudad Universitaria, in March.
“Having closed a unique summer season with one of our Sunsets in Ciudad Universitaria together with our consumers is very special,” commented Soledad Azarloza, Corona Argentina brand director, and added: “Those who choose us are because they are looking for relaxing spaces, enjoyment and music, and at Corona we always look for different ways to have a good time during the sunset. Without a doubt, Ciudad Universitaria was an ideal place for nature to be part of the festival and thus create an unforgettable experience for the thousands of people who accompanied us.”
The brand renewed its commitment to nature, as the Sunset was carbon neutral.
With the aim of reducing the impact on the environment, the footprint of the event was measured and compensated. Cerveza Corona relied on the Blue Standard guide to carry out several actions both in production and during the festival. Some of the practices adopted were the
use of recyclable and biodegradable materials in tableware, reusable eco-cups that replaced single-use bottles, and the separation of recyclable waste
to be managed by a cooperative of urban recyclers. In addition, plastic-free signage and graphics were used, among other initiatives. Thus, Cerveza Corona ratified its commitment to nature, where 100% of its ingredients come from.
The last evening of the Corona season had
an exclusive and premium gastronomic proposal from Tres Fuegos
, a project led by three friends with culinary experience, who came together in order to offer a different and quality menu designed to entertain the land, the sea and South American culture. During the day, there were vegan options from $4,000 such as empanadas with portobello and provolone disc, and provoleta with cherry and arugula for $6,500. Also, attendees were able to enjoy grilled menus such as sweetbread taco, grilled pineapple and soy reduction for $6,000, or the steak eye, provoleta and criolla sandwich with potatoes for $8500, cone of French fries with aioli or spicy sauce or paparella (vegan option) at $4500.
