Highlights: The new ST Edition developed by Ford Performance is the most complete Focus ever because it is ready for the road and the track. The Sports Technologies badge has been earned by this new model thanks to advanced features such as the adjustable coilover suspension system. The aim of the project was to reward passionate drivers with race car responses when the Focus ST Edition is used on a circuit, whilst offering the comfort of a high specification family car for the daily commute or a vacation. Under the hood is a 2.3-litre Ford EcoBoost engine with 280 HP and 420 Nm of torque which allows acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 5.7. The maximum speed, in the absence of limits, is regulated at 250 km/h. The car also comes with a technical document that provides recommended suspension settings for a variety of driving conditions - including specific settings for the Nürburgring Nordschleife - to help sports driving enthusiasts fine-tune their car and experiences that can be obtained.

The new ST Edition developed by Ford Performance is the most complete Focus ever because it is ready for the road and the track. This was underlined by Stefan Muenzinger, head of Ford Performance for Europe. "Focus ST Edition - he said - represents the best of our production in a solution that can be used every day. The racing technologies mean that drivers do not have to compromise in terms of versatility but can still enjoy the thrill of a day on the track".

The aim of the project was to reward passionate drivers with race car responses when the Focus ST Edition is used on a circuit, whilst offering the comfort of a high specification family car for the daily commute or a vacation.

The Sports Technologies badge has been earned by this new model thanks to advanced features such as the adjustable coilover suspension system, the alloy wheels made using the flowforming process (the same one also used to make aerospace components) or the Brembo front brakes which ensure powerful and constant braking lap after lap.

Under the hood is a 2.3-litre Ford EcoBoost engine with 280 HP and 420 Nm of torque which allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7. The maximum speed, in the absence of limits, is regulated at 250 km/h.

The Focus ST Edition's adjustable suspension comes with a setup developed by Ford Performance, tested extensively across Europe, including at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.

The suspension manufactured by motorsport specialists KW Automotive, features twin-tube stainless steel damper housings and powder-coated springs. The ride is lowered by 10mm front and rear compared to the standard Focus ST (for greater balance and control) but an additional 20mm of travel is available to the customer.

The car also comes with a technical document that provides recommended suspension settings for a variety of driving conditions - including specific settings for the Nordschleife - to help sports driving enthusiasts fine-tune their car and experiences that can be obtained.
