After a dark adolescent moment in which she approached the world of drugs, Veronica faced a path of recovery and rebirth until she graduated in Urbino: she wanted to share this achievement with the carabinieri of the Brecce Bianche station in Ancona who helped her in moments difficult and who yesterday participated in his graduation party at the Carlo Bo University.
"I can't say I've made it, I say I'm making it," wrote Veronica's mother in the email addressed to the police. "Every day I strive to make it, I look ahead with awareness towards new horizons." An unexpected email arrived a few days ago at the institutional email inbox of the Brecce Bianche station which is also busy daily with reports of social and family problems, of parents who no longer know which way to go because they see their children lost; doubts, uncertainties and requests for help. In Veronica's case there is a summary of a positive response to the work of the force on this front. After the difficulties in adolescence, Veronica faced and won her long battle in synergy with the institutions and society that allowed her "rebirth".
"You - the mother wrote to the police - actively participated in the construction of this rebirth, you were there in the most dramatic moments, an obvious goal for some, but not in this case, which is also a restart with a new life project ".
This is why Veronica wanted the carabinieri at her graduation in Urbino. The presence of the Carabinieri, the Carabinieri recalls, "was not just a symbolic gesture but represented a strong message of encouragement and trust in Veronica's path to recovery and growth. The commander of the Brecce Bianche Carabinieri Station gave her best wishes on behalf of the entire Army and, at the end of the ceremony, he received the most sincere thanks from Veronica.
