He was also right about the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, when he claimed that she will have to face some difficult health challenges this year. Now, it seems, he is not the only one who was right in his predictions for 2024. The blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Venga, who died more than 25 years ago, predicted two events that we are experiencing now. Does this mean the rest of her creepy predictions are likely to come true?
The witch who was blinded as a child and allegedly predicted Brexit and the 9/11 attacks in the US, has predicted two other events that are now coming true, the Mirror reports. She claimed that the world would "face an economic crisis" this year - and now Britain and Japan seem to be facing such a crisis. Information confirmed by the Central Bureau of Statistics in Great Britain shows that gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 0.3% (much more than expected) in the three months to December and January of this year. This is the result of "a decline in all major sectors of the economy and a collapse in retail sales." In Japan, the yen is now at a 34-year low and has weakened to 151.97 against the US dollar.The country has now dropped to fourth place in the world rankings, with Germany overtaking it in third place.
The medium's further prediction for the coming year was that we will have "drastic developments" in the health sector - and in recent weeks there has been confirmation that a lung cancer vaccine is now in the works. Scientists from the University of Oxford, the Francis Crick Institute and University College London, are working together on research that shows encouraging results about the possibilities of curing lung cancer - and they have received 1.7 million pounds ($2,139,225) from major UK charities to fund 3,000 vaccines.

Baba Venga predicts a prediction that does not sound far-fetched that will soon come true - an increase in terrorist attacks in 2024 - with a significant terrorist attack in Europe. It also claims that a "major country" will conduct nuclear weapons tests or attacks this year. It also predicts an assassination attempt on the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, by his countryman.
She also predicts for us extreme weather events and natural disasters for the coming year. Her forecast includes an unusual change in the Earth's orbit that could cause climate disruptions and an increase in radiation levels.
Believers, who interpret her writings, claim that although she did not know what "cyber attacks" were, she warned about advanced hackers who intend to attack vital infrastructure such as electricity networks and water treatment facilities - and pose a threat to national security.
