The day promises to be calm this Thursday. According to Météo France, once the rare morning showers are over, the sun will shine more and more. And for the first time in several days, the wind will be almost zero throughout the country.
This morning,
some rain continues to occur in Hauts-de-France as well as in Normandy. The North-West and the north of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region start the day under clouds. In other regions, the sun is present or slightly hidden by morning fog or a few clouds. From the Massif Central to the North-Eastern borders, the thermometer could have been close to 0°C at dawn, or even very slightly negative.
This afternoon,
the sun is moving further and further into the North-West and a little towards the North. It clearly settles everywhere else. Temperatures range from 15°C to 18°C in the northern half. They are within the seasonal averages, or even a little above, which was not the case in recent days. In the southern part of the country, values range from 18°C to 22°C. In the hottest regions, the continuation of this increase which began on Wednesday is accentuated and the levels go up to 5°C above normal.
