Ellmau – The fans of “The Mountain Doctor” must be going through a dry spell right now – because the 17th season of the idyllic medical series flickered across the screens at the beginning of March 2024. It will probably be a while before Hans Sigl (54), Mark Keller (58), Ronja Forcher (27) and the other actors deliver new stories from the Alpine landscape in Ellmau - but at least filming will start soon. Ronja Forcher was already able to take a look at the script.

Hans Sigl is using the “Bergdoktor” break for a new project – and Mark Keller is also currently busy with “Let’s Dance”. After all, the Dr. Alexander Kahnweiler actor has to rehearse and train properly for the RTL dance show. Her colleague Ronja Forcher will certainly not be bored either, as she recently even launched her own dirndl collection. Nevertheless, the stars are looking forward to filming continuing in May – and everyone meeting on set. The first insight into the new plots was totally emotional for Ronja Forcher.
In her
story, the Lilli Gruber actress reports on the moment she received the script for the upcoming season (the 18th). The script was sent to her by email. “What it feels like when I open my email and the script for episode 1, season 18 is waiting for me,” she writes, sharing a photo that shows a rainbow.
In another photo she shows how much she wants filming to start. “New episodes of 'Bergdoktor',” she captioned the rainbow. “I, who will be able to shoot it soon,” she comments on the scene in which she looks longingly into the distance.

live stream. The former had actually hoped that his “Bergdoktor” friend would also visit him live in the “Let’s Dance” studio. But Hans Sigl will probably have to rush straight from his thriller shoot in Portugal to the “Bergdoktor” setting.
However, the Martin Gruber actor is totally thrilled with Mark Keller's performance in the show. When it comes to the “Bergdoktor” collaboration, he can’t resist a little dig. Hans Sigl joked that he was seeing Mark Keller working on “Let’s Dance” “for the first time in 20 years.”
