Munich – In recent years, “Germany's Next Top Model” has had one revelation after another every season. Heidi Klum's (50) call for more diversity in the show doesn't improve the questionable interns who work in the model show. At the press training in episode nine, candidate Mare made serious allegations against GNTM in her Instagram story.
Serious allegations against GNTM: Mare explains what's behind the scenes of the episode
GNTM has been in the media with negative headlines for a long time. The new concept of the show is also heavily criticized by viewers. The ex-candidates from recent years publicly complained about acting and illness on the show after their participation. Now Mare speaks out in her Instagram story and reports on her actual state of health when the ninth episode was filmed.
Mare is one of the GNTM candidates who is a little different. She doesn't pretend, knows exactly who she is and compares herself to art. It's clear that she sometimes offends, but she still remains true to herself. In episode nine of the model show, the candidates receive press training in which Mare has to answer questions from journalist Claudia von Brauchitsch (49). She says what went on behind the scenes in her Instagram story.
Pneumonia, spitting blood: Mare makes serious allegations against GNTM
Mare, like all fans on Thursday evening, sits in front of the television at 8:15 p.m. and watches GNTM. While the episode is still running, the candidate uploads an Instagram story. What she publishes in it shouldn't please model mom Heidi Klum. “I have to briefly say how anti-social I find it that it hasn't been edited out yet that I spent the night in the hospital,” she opens her short Insta story. As Mare goes on to explain, she was in the hospital the night before filming because she “had pneumonia and was spitting up blood.”
As a result, she “didn’t have a single second of sleep” while filming this episode. She also reveals that “actually all of it was filmed,” it just wasn’t shown in the episode. “I find that a bit cool, I have to say,” she concludes her story. Not only is there illness at GNTM, but there are also regular tears, for example because an argument between candidates escalates.
