Roglic skips Freccia Wallone and Liège-Bastogne

Highlights: Primoz Roglic will not take part in next Wednesday's FrecciaVallone and in Liège-Bastogne-Liège on 21 April. Slovenian is recovering after the fall at the Tour of the Basque Country. He gave up on the fourth stage after a group crash that also involved Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vingegaard, Jay Vine and Steff Cras. The winner of the last Giro crashed on stages 3 and 4 of the Tour of the Basque Country. He is expected to make a full recovery in time for the Tour de France in June. He will be accompanied by his team, BORA-Hansgrohe, for the rest of the season. The Slovenian will miss the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the G Tour of Italy. He has also been ruled out of the 2014 Tour de France after suffering a knee injury.

Primoz Roglic, recovering from a fall at the Tour of the Basque Country, will not take part in next Wednesday's FrecciaVallone and in Liège-Bastogne-Liège on 21 April: this was announced by his team, BORA-Hansgrohe.


    "Primoz has been with us all week to treat his deep wounds and his knee - the words of Dan Lorang, performance manager BORA - Hansgrohe - We want to give his body time to fully recover from these injuries, because our big goal is the Tour de France. That's why we decided to focus on his training for next week."
