The French must
“refrain”
from traveling to Iran, Israel, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has just informed AFP.
As tension continues to rise in the Middle East, after months of conflict between the Jewish state and Hamas, the French are called upon to avoid any travel to this region of the world.
The decision comes as Iran threatens to strike Israel, accused of an attack on April 1 on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, and was
“taken into account in a crisis meeting”
, specifies the minister. He also called for the
“return of the families of diplomatic agents from Tehran”
as well as a ban on missions by French officials in these countries.
