Happy with the response

“We are happy that the UGA is back and are now satisfied with the response,” says Margit Schuhmann from the Funkenzauber agency, which organizes the UGA with the organizing association of the self-employed and the city: “I really like the mix of sectors. In keeping with the start of the gardening season, market manager Lars Knabe from the “Baumarkt Lohhof” informs visitors about raised beds and the possibilities of the new laser device: snack boards, cell phone cases or your personal hammer can be personalized with a lettering by him and colleague Sonja Wanninger.

At the penny parade

At the Pfennigparade Foundation stand, visitors admire the products from the bookbinding workshop: jewelry boxes, notebooks and bound magazines. “We are here to expand our network,” says Susanne Schmidt, “and of course we want to generate orders.”

The security company “busec” not only protects the UGA: “We want to appeal to customers from the region and also citizens, because we are looking for employees,” says Carsten Bucko. There is also a banner hanging at numerous other stands, such as that of the VR Bank Message “Employees wanted”.

Camper rental Vantopia

An exotic one is the camper rental company Vantopia, which places three mobile homes of different sizes on the outdoor area just in time for the travel season: “We have been in Unterschleißheim for a year, and this weekend is the perfect opportunity to introduce ourselves to a larger group of customers.”
