Three Tunisians arrested in Perugia by the police are held responsible for two violent attacks against a young compatriot for having undertaken a process of conversion to the Catholic religion.
According to investigators, after accusing him of "attending the Christian church", they threatened him and violently kicked and punched him.
The alleged victim had undertaken a process of conversion to Christianity, attending a parish and taking part in some religious celebrations, something - according to the police - not accepted by his compatriots of the Muslim faith.
