One person was injured in a fire that broke out on the second floor of a building in Casalnuovo in Naples. She is the owner of the house where the flames started: she is currently hospitalized in the emergency room in Frattamaggiore and appears to have suffered smoke poisoning; She doesn't appear to be in life-threatening condition at the moment.
The fire broke out in via Virnicchi, at "Parco Gallo" n.154, on the second of five floors of a building. Carabinieri and firefighters evacuated all the condominiums.
The causes of the fire appear to be attributable to a short circuit. The entire apartment caught fire. Inspections of the facility are now underway.
