The Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè spoke, via video link, at the international conference 'Conference on AI, Ethics and the Future of Corporate Governance' held in Rome, which saw the participation of the main leaders in the artificial intelligence sector from Silicon Valley, Canada and France.
In recalling Italy's attention to the topic of AI, the minister highlighted that "the Italian government brings tourism to the G7 agenda for the first time and does so with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. In fact, AI represents , one of the three pillars that we will address in Florence, from 13 to 15 November, on the occasion of the G7 on tourism, with the support of the OECD, to understand the impact of this technology on the sector and make the most of its opportunities. but at the same time we must govern it in the best possible way to safeguard our values and our traditions.
In short, the objective must be to find the right balance between analysis and empathy and not to lose the human aspect and, at the same time, to capture the best that this tool can offer in terms of flow management and seasonal adjustment", concluded Santanchè.
