French influencers living in Dubai reacted on social networks to the impressive floods which hit the favorite city of exile of these internet stars.
“I have never seen such a big storm in Dubai,”
assured Tuesday the content creator to six million subscribers on Instagram Caroline Receveur, who left France for the United Arab Emirates four years ago.
Julien and Manon Tanti, both known for having participated in several reality TV shows, including
Les Marseillais
on W9, complained on camera about the damage caused by this bad weather.
“Half of the shots failed us, we no longer have the internet (…) I think the car is a technical knockout,”
says the young woman on Snapchat.
Their former comrade Milla Jasmine, for her part, was only able to observe the collapse of her ceiling:
“The ceiling has just collapsed, I am shocked,”
she declares, with supporting images, on the same platform.
Severe storms also affected Bahrain, Oman and parts of Qatar. In these countries with dry climates, precipitation has caused extreme flooding. In Oman, 18 people died due to torrential rains.
