In the last few hours, the City Police arrested four men who had an arrest warrant for sexual abuse: one of them had been on the run for a decade and
was arrested in Constitución for using a SUBE card registered in his name
. The other three were arrested in Lugano, Congreso and in a community kitchen in Barrio 31.
The first of those arrested was a 52-year-old man who had been a fugitive for 10 years for
aggravated sexual abuse
. The offender had committed this crime, with carnal access, to the children of his then partner, both minors, and the events had taken place between 2009 and 2011.
In June 2014, his whereabouts were investigated. Only at the beginning of March of this year did the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 6 request the intervention of the Captures and Fugitives Division of the City Police to search for and detain the accused and the Buenos Aires force found him in just 9 days.
To achieve this result, the investigators collected all types of information of interest to the cause until they found a SUBE card registered in the individual's name. Thus they discovered that
he frequented Plaza Constitución
from where he took public transportation to return to his home in the town of Bernal.
After maintaining several guards in the area, the troops managed to identify and arrest the person involved.
The second of the arrests took place
in the vicinity of Barrio 15 in Villa Lugano
. On this occasion, the person wanted for the crime of aggravated abuse of his then partner was a 31-year-old man. It was the Oral Criminal and Correctional Court No. 9 that requested in this case the intervention of the same Division of the Buenos Aires force to carry out the arrest.
After multiple investigation tasks, both in the City and in the La Matanza district, the focus was placed on the home of the defendant's parents in Barrio 15, which at some point had been raided with negative results.
Suspecting that he could prowl the area, the brigade members stationed themselves at the location until
they saw him heading to a kiosk near Eva Perón Avenue and Murguiondo Street
, where after confirming his identity they detained him.
The third fell after the investigators of the Captures and Fugitives Division received the order from the National Criminal Rogatory Court headed by Dr. Anselmo De Santo, at the request of the Guarantee Court No. 1 of San Martín, to carry out
a raid on an apartment on Bartolomé Miter Street at 1700, in Congreso
, in order to arrest a 54-year-old fugitive.
The man was charged with the crime of seriously outrageous sexual abuse of a minor under 18 years of age in circumstances in which he lived with her during the year 2021 in the town of Villa Lynch, San Martín district.
During the procedure they could not find the person involved. But at the end,
the accused appeared
and the capture was made.
For its part, the last arrest was carried out in a community kitchen in Barrio 31. On that occasion, the Special Prosecutor's Unit in Complex Criminal Investigation (UFECRI) led by Dr. Campagnoli at the request of the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 44, requested the intervention of the City Police to find a 63-year-old man who was wanted for the crime of sexual abuse on repeated occasions of two minors aged 15 and 13, daughters of his ex-partner, between 2012. and 2022.
The investigators carried out various investigative tasks in different parts of the City that at the time gave negative results. But monitoring on social networks changed the situation.

, where he shared posts mentioning a community kitchen located on Talampaya Street in Barrio 31.
After setting up discreet guards in the vicinity of the place, the brigade members visualized a man who met the characteristics of the wanted person. Once he was identified and they confirmed that he was the wanted person, he was arrested and placed at the disposal of Justice.
