to discuss the Portuguese revolution of 1974, at the heart of a documentary broadcast on Wednesday on Histoire TV for which she provides commentary, singer Lio exhumed her personal memories.

“Everyone had pins with the sickle and the hammer. Lisbon was decorated with wonderful revolutionary paintings (...). Everyone was campaigning, even the very young! It was like breathing, it was huge.”

Invited to talk about the projects that are close to her heart, such as hosting the show “Drag Race” in Belgium, Lio then spoke about the liberation of women's voices. For which, she pays tribute to
“Adèle Haenel, who paid very, very dearly”
according to her.

In 2006, Lio had, during the program “Everybody talks about it”, denounced the death of Marie Trintignant at the hands of Bertrand Cantat:
“I think that Bertrand is entitled to redemption, but to say that Marie was responsible of her death with him, no, love does not bring death, or it’s a mistake
,” she cried. A television passage

“Despite him. Despite this man (Thierry Ardisson) who is a manipulator and whom I do not respect.

Except that it agrees with the spirit - she had not yet read it - of Christine Angot's column indignant at the presentation of the Legion of Honor, by Emmanuel Macron, to the host.
“Anyway, since Mr. Macron came to power, Foutriquet has been slapping us one after the other
,” complains Lio.
The singer, known for her high words, has been invited on multiple occasions to Thierry Ardisson's sets. In 1991 in “Double Jeu”, in 1999, in 2003 or even in 2006. That year, in an atmosphere that was often playful, the host had also exchanged a kiss with the artist, invited at the same time as his ex-companion Michel Blanc. Should we find, in one or other of these passages, the origin of his wrath?
