The 8 Argentine pizzerias mentioned by the ranking and what position they occupy

Position 3: Ti Amo de Adrogué

Until 2019, Victoria and Carola Santoro were dedicated to the world of fashion, but their true passion was always pizza. Despite having no culinary training or previous experience in the sector, they decided to take on the challenge of opening their own pizzeria in the Adrogué neighborhood. To learn how to prepare authentic Neapolitan pizza, they turned to tutorials available on YouTube.

"The pizza is contemporary Neapolitan style. Soft, fragrant and well alveolar, excellent products and a lot of care in the cooking of each pizza. You have to try the classic margherita, because it is made to perfection. Simple but very refined atmosphere with a service Truly friendly who does everything possible to make customers feel comfortable. To finish, an excellent chocolate ice cream. Prices a little above the city average, but really worth it," they describe from the ranking.

In their stores, they also have another in Colegiales, they offer between 10 and 14 varieties of pizzas according to their toppings, which depend on seasonal products, but the one that its creators like the most is the Margarita. “If you want to see what the pizzeria is like, I ordered the Margarita pizza,” Victoria recommended to Clarín.

They assure that Ti Amo's Margarita pizza is special: the dough is made with a mix of Argentine flours, the Italian sauce and the Fior di latte mozzarella is national but made with Italian machinery. It also has (a lot of) fresh basil, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and pepper.

On El Salvador Street there is an establishment located in a restored house, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza and its constant influx of diners. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to make advance reservations or have enough time and patience when visiting, as it is usually very busy.

From the ranking they describe it: "The pizzeria opened in the Palermo neighborhood, one of the most lively in the Argentine capital, immediately sets off with great ambitions and is a sign of the market's growing attention towards the Neapolitan style. Well furnished and designed to be modern and welcoming, with the Neapolitan repertoire and some variations of Argentinian products. The starters and desserts are also good. The choice of drinks is decent. "

Atte's pizzas are distinguished by their thin sourdough, their inflated and crispy edges, known as corniglione in Italy, and their brindle appearance. Although they may seem low on cheese by the standards of traditional Buenos Aires pizzerias, they are a one-of-a-kind delight. These pizzas are cooked in a Pavesi oven imported from Italy, which is fed with white quebracho, adding a special touch to its flavor and texture.

Atte's menu is made up of 10 varieties of piizza. Among them, the one that bears the name of the place stands out - it was one of those that Dua Lipa requested -; with tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, gorgonzola, oregano, parmesan and provolone ($13,900).
