Access to the parking lot could be the origin of the savage attack. This Thursday, the head of the branch of the municipal HLM office, Nanterre Coop Habitat, in Petit-Nanterre, was beaten up by two hooded individuals dressed in black.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m., the company employee, clearly expected by his attackers, was taken out of his vehicle, put on the ground, beaten, then sprayed with tear gas. According to his own account, the two men, put to flight by the intervention of passers-by, then abandoned him bleeding. A real beating, from which he emerged with four days of temporary incapacity for work (ITT).
The lessor “condemns with the greatest firmness this attack”
A complaint was filed at the Nanterre police station and the HLM office branch, where a psychological unit was set up for staff, closed its doors all day. A closure, which will probably extend until Monday.
“Nanterre Coop'Habitat as a whole condemns in the strongest terms this premeditated attack against one of its agents,” the management of the office said in a press release this Thursday afternoon. It is unacceptable for Coop's employees to be targeted in this way, for no apparent or stated reason. By attacking staff committed to tenants and the HLM world, the very missions of a social organization are being attacked. »
Nanterre Coop'Habitat officials are now asking that "the police investigation can be carried out as quickly as possible to find the culprits of this scandalous attack".
According to a police source, “the new layout of the parking lots”, where barriers have just been installed as part of a “residentialization and security” of outdoor spaces, could be at the origin of this beating. . “The victim had just affixed sheets to the cars indicating that vehicles which did not have authorization would be impounded,” specifies the same source.
A lead that some regulars in the neighborhood don't believe in. “No longer being able to have access to parking spaces can hinder those who need them, particularly for traffic,” notes one of them. But the attack still seems well premeditated and very violent for a simple parking matter. »
