Positive balance of 155,723 job contracts in January

Highlights: In January 2024, 673,604 employment contracts were activated in the private sector against 517,881 terminations. Most of the extra jobs refer to permanent contracts with a positive balance of 108,323. In January 2023, there was a positive overall net change of175,019 units (+130,263 for permanent contracts). The figures were released by the social security agency INPS on Thursday on figures from its Observatory on precarious employment.
