“Other great projects with Elton”: RTL doesn’t completely shoot Elton down

RTL told

: “'Disgrace or cash in' had a strong start to the season, but was unable to maintain its market share throughout. We are now concentrating on other great projects with Elton, including 'Three against One' and 'The RTL EM Studio - All games, goals, emotions'.” According to the RTL statement, moderator Elton is not to blame for the show ending. The reason for discontinuation is low quotas.

There is also no end in sight to the collaboration between the Cologne broadcaster and Elton. RTL program director Inga Leschek confirms to

: “We love Elton. And if he suddenly has a little more time, then the RTL family will of course welcome him with open arms. Our audience has already taken him to their hearts.” RTL initially did not want to reveal whether the quiz show could possibly move to another channel. So it remains exciting to see what happens with “Embarrass or Cash” in the future. By the way, Matthias Opdenhövel (53) was very happy about his “Schlag den Star” return - but he was torn apart by the viewers online.
