The number of young people at risk of deviance and addiction is growing, with also problems for existential planning. This is what emerged from the conference Countering youth hardship in contemporary society: dialogue strategies for an active citizenship training course, promoted and organized by the voluntary association "Per vive Insieme odv", which took place in the Queen's Hall in Montecitorio.
"It is encouraging to see such broad participation and such a strong interest in such important topics - said the president of the association Luigi Avveduto -. It is nice to see professionals and organizations who dedicate themselves to providing support and solidarity in a world often characterized by coldness and indifference. I thank in particular the volunteers, the beating heart of the association, underline the crucial role they play in carrying forward the organisation's mission. I would like to highlight the underlying message that animates our reality, and which I hope on this occasion can also act as a warning to everyone: The attention paid to the homeless and the need not to forget the least is an important call for greater sensitivity and social action on the part of politics and society as a whole".
