Big trouble ahead on the Ile-de-France roads? Traffic was cut off on the A13 motorway in both directions at 7:45 a.m. this Friday morning due to “infrastructure problems on the roadway”. The duration of closure of this busy route, which serves Normandy in particular, remains undetermined, which worries motorists as the school holidays of Ile-de-France residents end this weekend.
“Access from the N186 to Chesnay-Rocquencourt towards the A13 Paris is also closed,” specifies Sytadin, who provides information on the traffic situation in Île-de-France in real time.
“If possible, postpone your trips or avoid the area”
The specialized site also gives alternative routes to follow, in order to bypass this closed road axis. “To reach Paris from Rocquencourt, take the A12 and the N12 towards Versailles, then towards Paris via Porte de Saint-Cloud (N118),” explains Sytadin. For those who wish to go to the capital from Bois-d'Arcy, simply take the same roads.
For Ile-de-France residents who wish to leave the region this weekend, they should not attempt to reach the highways which link the province by exiting at the Porte de Saint-Cloud. No other gate in Paris is affected by any closure at the moment.
“As far as possible, postpone your trips or avoid the area,” especially reminds Sytadin, while traffic is expected to be heavy in Île-de-France in the coming hours. In addition to the usual weekend departures of Parisians to the provinces, there is the return of school holidays, which end this Sunday for residents of Zone C (Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse, Versailles).
