Two women are invited to Guatemala by “Bauer sucht Frau” participant Andreas. The candidates are happy - but for one of them, the enthusiasm is only short-lived.
Guatemala – On April 16th, RTL showed the opening episode of the sixth season “Bauer sucht Frau International” with format favorite Inka Bause (55) on the linear TV program. This time, eight candidates are looking for true love - but not every participant's search for a partner goes like clockwork. After the first encounter, one farmer even received a rebuff via WhatsApp.
“Bauer sucht Frau International” candidates are looking forward to the farm week with Andreas
In the first episode, RTL viewers got to know cocoa farmer Andreas (63) from Guatemala. The “Bauer sucht Frau International” candidate didn't have it easy - when they first met, Swiss Susanne (58) gave her a clap, because after a two-on-one conversation between the two of them, she announced: "I'm staying in Switzerland."

There was also no chemistry between Nicole (44) and the farmer - that's why, after all the one-on-one conversations, Andreas chose two other women whom he would like to invite to Guatemala: Petra (57), who lives in Thailand, and Uta (57) from Saxony. . Both participants were happy to be among the chosen ones. "I'm really happy. [...] I'm really excited to see what it will be like on site and what life Andreas actually leads," was Petra's first reaction to the opportunity she was given to get to know Andreas better as part of the farm week. Uta was also happy, but emphasized: “I have to let it sink in first.”

Andreas is very excited and he can hardly wait to welcome his two chosen ones to his home in Central America. “I'm really looking forward to the farm week and I'm just looking forward to getting to know two great people better - and now I'm happy to be going to Guatemala, preparing a bit and then starting the farm week accordingly,” said the 63-year-old. Year-olds full of anticipation for the days ahead - but then the shock. As the preview of the second “Bauer sucht Frau International” episode (April 23rd) reveals, one of the two women subsequently rejected him via WhatsApp.
“Hello dear Andreas, first of all thank you very much for choosing me to get to know you better and experience your new home. Unfortunately the last spark hasn't ignited and I'm making room for a really great person who might win your heart. I have a good feeling and wish everyone a damn good time,” is the message that the cocoa farmer surprisingly received on his cell phone. Andreas' disappointment is written all over his face. “Of course it affects me, because getting rejections is never nice,” the 63-year-old admits to RTL and the viewers.
But it's not just Andreas who seems to have negative experiences on the dating show, farmer Ulrike (57) is also having a few teething problems with her candidate, as the preview for the upcoming episode reveals. Candidate Heiko walks around the 57-year-old's house a little too freely, which outrages the farmer's wife - although at the first greeting everything seemed so warm between "Farmer Seeks Ms. International" Ulrike and her Heiko.
