Transport in Ile-de-France: disruptions over the weekend of April 20 and 21

Highlights: No trains to the airport! Due to maintenance work on the line, traffic is interrupted all weekend between Aulnay-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis and the Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle terminus. The northern branch of line C is completely closed this Saturday and Sunday to allow "preventive maintenance work before the Olympics." No trains are running between Invalides and Pontoise in Val-d' Oise. Take the metro, tram, and regular bus lines between Avenue-Henri-Martin and Ermont-Eaubonne. More early closures to be expected in the evening on the different branches of line E. The Massy-Palaiseau/Versailles Chantiers axis between Essonne and Yvelines is also closed all weekend for the renewal of a level crossing. No replacement service is scheduled. Transilien-SNCF recommends, if possible, postponing your trip.


Disruptions are expected on lines B and C of the RER but also on the metro network with lines 1 and 4 stopped on Sunday morning


RER B.

No trains to the airport! Due to maintenance work on the line, traffic is interrupted all weekend between Aulnay-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis and the Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle terminus. Two replacement bus services serving terminals 1 and 2 are in place from Mitry-Claye in Seine-et-Marne or Aulnay-sous-Bois.

RER C.

Like last week, the northern branch of line C is completely closed this Saturday and Sunday to allow "preventive maintenance work before the Olympics" and no trains are running between Invalides and Pontoise in Val-d' Oise. Take the metro, tram and regular bus lines between Avenue-Henri-Martin and Ermont-Eaubonne and line H between Ermont-Eaubonne and Pontoise.

The Massy-Palaiseau/Versailles Chantiers axis between Essonne and Yvelines is also closed all weekend for the renewal of a level crossing. Connections between the two stations are via the regular C1 or C1 express bus lines.

Finally on the “southern” branches of the RER, rail traffic between the terminuses of Saint-Martin-d’Etampes and Dourdan-la-Forêt in Essonne and Paris-Austerlitz will be interrupted this Sunday from 10 p.m. then replaced by substitute bus until the end of the service.

RER D.

Due to works, RER D traffic is interrupted between Châtelet les Halles and Combs-la-Ville in Seine-et-Marne, and between Châtelet les Halles and Juvisy in Essonne Saturday all day and Sunday until 'at 1 pm. No replacement service is scheduled. Transilien-SNCF recommends, if possible, postponing your trip.

RER E.

More early closures to be expected in the evening on the different branches of line E. This Saturday and Sunday, rail traffic will be interrupted from 10:30 p.m. on the Haussmann-Chelles/Gournay and Villiers-sur-Marne/ routes. Tournan. The replacement bus service from Chelles-Gournay in Seine-et-Marne ends at Gare de l'Est. In the opposite direction, it leaves from Bobigny-Pablo Picasso station in Seine-Saint-Denis on line 5. For Tournan, a bus service is set up from Noisy Grand Mont d'Est station on line A .

Transilien

Line

J. Traffic is interrupted throughout this weekend between Les Mureaux and Mantes-la-Jolie in Yvelines as well as this Saturday all day and this Sunday until 4 p.m. between Issou-Porcheville and Mantes-la-Jolie. Replacement bus services are being put in place on train-deprived sections. Sunday only, line J will also be closed between Argenteuil in Val-d'Oise and Paris Saint-Lazare. A replacement bus service connects Argenteuil and Asnières (Hauts-de-Seine).

Line K.

Traffic is interrupted, Saturday and Sunday, between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry-Claye in Seine-et-Marne. Line B, parallel, operates normally between the two stations. Line K is not disrupted between Mitry-Claye and the Crépy-en-Valois terminus in Oise.

Line N.

Trains on the line will not run between Epône-Mezières and Mantes-la-Jolie on Saturday all day and Sunday until 4:30 p.m. A replacement bus service replaces them at the same times.

Line P.

Large trains of maintenance work on the different branches of line P this weekend. Rail traffic will be interrupted all weekend between Paris-Est and the destinations Meaux, Château-Thierry and la Ferté-Milon. Replacement bus services are being put in place on the various routes.

Metro

Line 1.

No metro Sunday morning. The entire Château de Vincennes-La Défense line will remain closed to travelers until midday.

Line 4.

Same reason and same consequence as on line 1. Due to maintenance work, line 4 will only open to travelers from noon this Sunday. It will operate normally on Saturday.

Line 11.

The partial closure of line 11 (from Belleville station to the Mairie des Lilas terminus), which began 10 days ago, extends beyond the school holidays. The line therefore remains reduced to the Châtelet-Belleville section, this weekend and next week (until Saturday 27 inclusive) before a complete closure on Sunday April 28. Replacement buses serve closed metro stations.
