The second meeting between Barcelona and Paris St Germain on the Brazilian star Neymar's deal has ended without agreement, Spanish newspaper Sport reported.

The newspaper said in its issue today that the parties will continue negotiations amid the "optimism" inside Barcelona that the club can get the player's signature before the closure of the summer transfer market next Monday.

The Spanish champion sent a delegation to Paris today in a new attempt to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

Other media reports have suggested that PSG could ask for 100 million euros, as well as Dembele and Portuguese back Nelson Semedo.

Representatives of the Catalan club had met PSG officials in mid-January to negotiate the return of Neymar, but the meeting did not lead to any agreement or significant progress.

Barcelona's Real Madrid and Juventus will leave him on loan with a mandatory option to buy him for 170 million euros or sell him in a deal involving players like Dembele who refuse to leave Camp Nou.

The 27-year-old left Barcelona two years ago for 222 million euros in a deal that made him the most expensive player in history.
