Syrian wrestling player Omar Sarim qualifies for the final of the Mediterranean beach tournament

Syrian player wrestling Omar Sarim qualified for the final of the Mediterranean beach tournament held in the Greek city of Patras.

He reached the final with a 3-1 win over a Frenchman in the semi-finals he had qualified for by beating Albany 3-2.

He had beaten a Greek from Greece 3-0 and a Spanish player 5-0 in the first round of the over 90kg Group B championship.

Also, our team player Abdul Karim Al-Hassan in the Group A qualifiers weighing 70 kg defeated a French player 1-0 and a Cypriot player with the same result.

Al-Hassan lost yesterday to a Portuguese player 1-2 and to Albanian player zero -2.

Reda Al Osta lost with a Greek player 2-3 in the semi-finals weighing 80 kg and will play for third and fourth places.
