Syria's Olympic team is preparing for the Asian finals in Thailand early next year as it prepares for a new 10-day local training camp.
As part of the preparations for the finals, our team will play two friendly matches against its Jordanian counterpart on the 14th and 16th of next month.
The players invited to the camp are Fares Arnaout, Youssef Hamwi, Youssef Mohamed, Mohamed Kamel Kouyah, Anas El-Aji, Ayman Akil, Abdel Rahman Barakat, Yazan Orabi, Mazen Amara, Abdel Hadi Shalha, Lance Bitar, Zaid Ghurair, Sobhi Shofan, Milad Hamad, Mohamed Malta, Laith Ali, Khaled Kardaghli, Kamel Hmicha, Alan Al-Dali and Marwan Zaid. Kader Adi, Zakaria Hanan, Mohammed Berri and Nabil Koro.
The training and administrative staff consists of Ayman Al-Hakim as coach, Ahmed Azzam and Musab Mohammed as assistant coaches, Ahmed Al-Nayef as the goalkeeper coach, Ahmad Zeno as manager, Ezzat Shakalo and Mohammed Akash physiotherapists, Emad Amiri as media coordinator and Aws Mohammed as equipment manager.
Our team held an external training camp last month in the Russian city of Krasnodar, where he held three friendly meetings, defeating the Russian club Internat 6 goals and GNC Spartak 3-1 and a draw with Russian club Kuban Holding with two goals for them.
It is noteworthy that our team qualified to the finals of the Asian Cup in Thailand by the second best in the qualifiers that took place in Kuwait, note that the draw for the finals will take place on the 26th of next month in the Thai capital Bangkok.
