Curious discovery at the Vuelta: During the Spanish cycling tour, a TV helicopter accidentally filmed a cannabis plantation on the roof of a residential building in the Catalan town of Igualada. About one kilometer before the finish line of the eighth stage on Saturday, the helicopter flew over several houses for its live transmission, thereby bringing the plantation into prominence.
The material was aired nationwide, alerting the police and immediately investigating. The inhabitants of the house are missing any trace, the total of about 40 plants were destroyed. If the "hobby gardeners" return, they face a prison sentence of between three and six years.
