The German volleyball players have missed the semi-finals at the European Championships. In the quarter-finals, the team of national coach Felix Koslowski lost only in tiebreak against co-hosts Poland 2: 3 (25:22, 16:15, 19:25, 25:17, 11: 5). Previously, the German team from the first six games at the European Championship had won six wins.
The game started auspiciously for Germany, before 9380 spectators in Lodz, Poland led attacker Louisa Lippmann her team to win the first set. As a result, the German players acted to behave, while the Polish women took advantage of their opportunities.
