Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was named the best player in the squad in August.
"This award gives me a lot of confidence to make good matches and enjoy playing football," Benzema said in remarks carried by the club's official website.
Benzema scored twice and made one in the first three games of the season against Celta Vigo, Valladolid and Villarreal.
The 31-year-old Benzema won the Player of the Month award five times last season.
