Iran's basketball team defeated Angola 71-62 today in the 2019 World Cup in China.
According to the official IRNA news agency, the match took place today as part of the second phase of the World Cup to compete for 16 to 32 places.
In the first stage, Iran lost their three Group C games to Puerto Rico, Tunisia and Spain.
Iran will play their next match against the Philippines, an important match they must win as part of their bid to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
