Serena Williams reached the final of the US Open last night after beating Ukrainian Elena Svetolina 2-0 to become one step away from the record-equaling title to win the 24 Grand Slam.
Serena showered her opponent with a powerful forehand and six aces for a 6-3 6-1 victory.
Canada's Bianca Andrescu or Swiss Belinda Benchic will stand between Serena, 37, and the title.
