The TuS Holzhausen Porta has deregistered its first football team from the Spielbetrieb from the Kreisliga A, after the club from the district Minden-Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia has received information about a video that some people scandowing "Sieg-Heil" - Slogans shows. The coach was released from his duties in the club, also the prosecutor's office determined.

What happened? On September 5, the club wrote on Facebook, he had learned the day before from the video that was recorded at the promotion ceremony of the first team in May 2019. In it one can see how "the Hitler salute was repeatedly verbally chanted in the choir and the gesture of salutation was hinted at". Therefore, at its meeting on 4 September, the Executive Board decided to exclude the persons concerned from the association after examination of the facts and to impose a ban on sports grounds.

Three days later, the club released another statement. After the team and coach were able to comment on the incidents, further measures were taken. The team has expressed their regret and declared their democratic values. The club rated the incidents as "unacceptable misconduct by individuals".

"TuS Holzhausen can not tolerate a behavior that is contrary to our ethical values and moreover criminally punitive, which has to send a clear signal internally and publicly and, in the future, we also have to argue about it," wrote Matthias Adamkowitsch, Chairman of the Management Board.

Why the video appeared at the moment, is still unclear

After completing the ongoing public prosecutor's investigation, in which the personal responsibility of individuals is clarified, the Board reserves personnel consequences.

Why the video spread around four months after the recording, is still unclear, writes the "Mindener Tageblatt". The video was apparently taken directly in the cabin after the club had risen by a 6-0 against TuS Bad Oeynhausen II in the county league A. To see and hear is how the trophy is held up and called by several people "Sieg Heil".

After the city heard Porta Westfalica from the video, she turned to the prosecutor and the protection of the Constitution. "Such behavior can not and must not be tolerated," Mayor Bernd Hedtmann is quoted in a statement. "Especially against the background that at the Porta Westfalica 3000 people under the National Socialist regime in three camps have suffered severely and for several years intensive educational work is done to me, meets me such behavior personally and as mayor, the reputation of this city to protect.
