England continued their progress towards the European Championship finals 2020 but not in the way they had expected after a 5-3 win over Kosovo in an exciting Group A qualifier in St Marys.
England, who have scored three goals at home for the first time since 2012, lead the group with 12 points after scoring 19 goals in four games.
Kosovo slipped to third and have eight points, one point behind the Czech Republic, who won 3-0 away at Montenegro.
Despite their defeat, Kosovo's unbeaten chances in 15 consecutive games against England are still realistic to qualify for their first tournament finals, just four years after they won international accreditation from FIFA.
