The 7th Arabian Horse Race, which took place today at Dimas Racecourse in Damascus countryside, witnessed strong competitions amid a large audience for equestrian enthusiasts.
The race, organized by the Syrian Society of Purebred Arabian Horses in cooperation with the Arabian Horses Bureau at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, was held on seven runs of different distances for pure Syrian Arabian horses and Arab horses registered from different sources.
As a result of the championship, Al-Jawad won the tune of Al-Maayouf for Youssef Al-Maayouf in the first half of the Syrian horses.
The third half of the Syrian horses for the distance of 1600 meters won rivals horse Prince Fadi Mohammed Yasser Kalawi, while the horse Jarh Ugarit for Rashid and Nawaf al-Kurdi title championship fourth half of the horses recorded distance of 1600 meters.
