Juventus snatch a point away from home with a goalless draw against Fiorentina

Juventus were held to a goalless draw by Fiorentina in Serie A in Florence today.

Juventus, who won the first two games at the Artemio Franchi stadium, were favorites to win against Fiorentina, who have no points and have not won in 16 league games.

Franck Ribery made his debut in the starting line-up with Fiorentina, who made the most dangerous chances, but Vincenzo Montella's lack of final touch helped Juventus grab a draw.

Juventus top the standings with seven points but could lose top spot to Inter or Torino at the end of the round while Fiorentina are 16th with their first points of the season.

With this draw, Fiorentina's 17-match winning streak extended to 17 games, their worst period in the competition since the 1970-1971 season.
