With his first away win, VfB Stuttgart has taken the league standings in the 2nd Bundesliga. The still unbeaten Swabians prevailed 3: 2 (1: 0) at Jahn Regensburg and solved with 14 points, at least for the time being, the Hamburger SV at the top. The HSV could already pass by with a draw in the city derby on Monday (20.30 clock Sky) at FC St. Pauli.
The superior Stuttgart scored with the first shot on goal: The Argentine Nicolas Gonzalez brought the club in the lead (24). Max Besuschkow equalized with a penalty (71.). Holger Badstuber headed home (76 ') and substitute Hamadi Al Ghaddioui on counterattacks (90' + 2 ') decided the game was in favor of the guests, who missed numerous chances to score. Federico Palacios-Martinez managed only the connecting goal (90. + 3).
Hannover 96 - Arminia Bielefeld 0: 2 (0: 1)
Arminia Bielefeld has brought Hannover 96 into a sporting crisis. The Ostwestfalen defeated the Erstliga relegated, remain unbeaten this season and sat down with now twelve points further in the top flight of the table. Fabian Klos gave Bielefeld a header in the 32nd minute. For the Arminia top goalscorer it was already the fourth goal of the season.
After the break, the visitors followed suit with a penalty: Andreas Voglsammer scored (64 ') after Klos was fouled in the penalty area by Felipe. Ten minutes before the end, Hannover's Waldemar Anton was sent off in yellow-red.
1. FC Heidenheim - Holstein Kiel 3: 0 (2: 0)
Thanks to two goals from returnees Tim Kleindienst the 1. FC Heidenheim has ended its negative series and extended the away-miseries of Holstein Kiel. After the last four games without a win, the FCH beat the Kielers 3: 0 (2: 0). The Kleindienst returned from SC Freiburg to Heidenheim (29th minute / 55th) and Robert Leipertz (3rd minute) scored in front of 10.800 spectators the results for the team of coach Frank Schmidt.
While the Heidenheimer advanced through the second win of the season into the midfield of the table, the Kieler of coach André Schubert remain after the third defeat in the third away match in the relegation zone of the 2nd League.
