2. Bundesliga: FC St. Pauli wins surprisingly in city derby against HSV

For almost 60 years FC St. Pauli had to wait for a home victory against Hamburger SV. In the city derby the team of Jos Luhukay won 2-0. The HSV underwent an own goal.

Historical result in Hamburg: FC St. Pauli won the 102nd city derby against Hamburger SV 2: 0 (1: 0). The goals for St. Pauli were achieved by Dimitrios Diamantakos (18 minutes) and HSV defender Rick van Drongelen (62 minutes). He underwent an own goal. The last victory against the local rivals could celebrate St. Pauli in February 2011, the last home victory goes back to the year 1960.

The home team dominated the opening stages of the game: HSV goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes parried the massive shot from 25 meters away from Marvin Knoll (13).
