2019-09-16T09:52:48.999Z

The Revier Clubs represent the best players of the weekend - with three Dortmunders and three Schalke in the Topelf. Bayern international Joshua Kimmich convinced in his favorite position.

There is a spirit of optimism in Gelsenkirchen. The 5-1 victory in Paderborn completes Schalke's good start to the season. The high victory in Paderborn also set an exclamation point: The defensive in recent years, the team now dominated the scoring.

Especially Amine Harit flourishes under the new coach. Domenico Tedesco and Huub Stevens despaired of the fickle Moroccan. Rarely did he show two good games in a row. Schalke new coach David Wagner apparently knows how to use Harit. It does not matter if Harit comes in 10's or left wing in Wagner's 4-2-3-1-system, he convinces with his dribbling and his ability to pass.

Under Wagner Harit enjoys more freedom. The fast counterfeit football of the Schalke meets its strengths: Harit is nimble and manoeuvrable, he convinces especially when he can run with speed on a defensive line. He has now learned the goal shooting: Against Paderborn met Harit twice. On the fourth matchday, he was the only Bundesliga player to reach the highest possible SPIX of 100. He is of course in the eleven of the week.

Mönchengladbach celebrates its derby winner. In the Rhine duel against 1. FC Cologne, Borussia was able to prevail 1-0. However, they had enough chances to make the victory clearer. Due to their lack of opportunity exploitation, it was in the final phase once again exciting. But keeper Yann Sommer was on the spot: Three top parries and two heavy saves secured his team's victory and summer bring a high SPIX of 99. No other keeper held on the fourth matchday more balls.

A Schalke side by side with a Dortmunder, that is only in the Topelf. Schalke's Benjamin Stambouli and Dortmund's Mats Hummels convinced in the ball recapture: Stambouli won five of his six tackles and caught two passes. Although Hummels won only two of his four tackles, he lost three passes. Their high value in the Ball Capture category qualifies them both for the Topelf of the week.

The two strongest full-backs of the week unite that they were still traded as a farewell candidate in the summer: Dortmund's Raphaël Guerreiro was said to have made a move to Paris, Philipp Max allegedly wanted to leave Augsburg. Both stayed - and convince now. Guerreiro scored in the 4-0 win against Leverkusen a goal, Max prepared the Augsburg goal 2-1 win against Frankfurt the goal for the meantime 2-0.

Should Joshua Kimmich play in the right-back position, or in central midfield? This question divides the republic. National coach Joachim Loew puts him in midfield, Bayern coach Niko Kovac usually as a right-back. In the 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig Kovich surprised surprisingly as a six on. Kimmich convinced: 91 of his 99 passes came with a teammate, he even put two chances. With this Kimmich collected advantages in his own case. He had always emphasized in the past that he sees himself as a six.

How different the position on the outer track can be interpreted, proves the unequal duo of our Topelf. Schalke's Harit acted as a lively dribbler, he umkurvte five times his opponent. Freiburg's Christian Günther, on the other hand, often moved to the left from the left wing, acting much more straightforward than the bustling Harit. In the 3-0 win in Hoffenheim Günter contributed a goal and a template.

Marco Reus put his teammates under pressure before the game against Leverkusen. After the 1: 3 defeat at Union Berlin, the team must show a response, said the BVB captain. He set a good example: In the 4-0 win against Bayer, he scored two goals. As a tens he was involved in almost all dangerous counterattacks of the Dortmund. Reus impressed above all with his agility as well as with his timing at sprints in the penalty area.

Even in the storm, the two players of the Topelf basically differ in their qualities. Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski captivates in this season by his cold snottiness. Against Leipzig he scored his seventh goal of the season in the fourth game. Schalke's Guido Burgstaller does not have a single goal this season. He acts as a team player. He has a high SPIX in the categories ball conquest and opportunity creation. This is rewarded by the SPIX, who does not measure strikers exclusively at goals.
