PARIS (Reuters) - Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar has been banned from three European matches for just two games after being charged with insulting referees, the Court of Arbitration for Sport said on Thursday.
St Germain and Neymar filed an appeal against UEFA's decision in June to suspend Neymar for three matches and the court agreed to accept him in part, Reuters reported.
Neymar called the video assistant referee a scandal after PSG were knocked out of the Champions League last 16 by Manchester United, who had a last-minute penalty to win 3-1 in Paris and qualify.
Neymar will be able to play in the third round of the group stage of the Champions League, where they will visit PSG, the Belgian club Brugge on 22 October.
