NFL superstar Antonio Brown has been dismissed after only one assignment for the New England Patriots. This was announced by the team. They appreciate the "hard work" of those involved over the past eleven days, but consider it best to "take a different direction". Brown thanked the team via tweet.

- AB (@ AB84) September 20, 2019On Monday, the US journal Sports Illustrated reported several cases of domestic violence by the football star. Among other things, Brown is said to have sexually harassed an artist and threatened to have her published the reports in text messages - while an investigation of the NFL is already running after a former fitness trainer Brown had accused of rape. Earlier in the afternoon, sportswear maker "Nike" ended its collaboration with the NFL player. Brown denies all allegations.
Less than two weeks ago, the wide receiver switched to the defending champion and made his debut against the Miami Dolphins last Sunday. The Patriots were Brown's third team this calendar year, having previously asked for his dismissal after several quarrels with the management of the Oakland Raiders - and got that wish fulfilled.
