Paris St Germain suffered their second defeat of the season and their first home league defeat in 16 months with a 2-0 defeat at Stade Rance.
Hassan Kamara put the visitors ahead in the first half with a header and Pulai Dia doubled the lead with an acrobatic stoppage-time shot to give Rance a deserved victory.
Rance are eighth with 11 points.
The French champions, who remain top of the table with 15 points from seven games, did not look the same as they beat Real Madrid 3-0 in the Champions League last week and failed to create clear chances at the Parc des Princes.
