Eintracht Frankfurt won the Friday match of the sixth game day at Union Berlin and scored for the first time in this Bundesliga season away. The goals in the 2-1 (0-0) scored the Neu-Frankfurter Bas Dost (48.), who had moved after the draw against Dortmund again for Gonçalo Paciência in the starting lineup and André Silva (62. Minute). Substitute Anthony Ujah's 86th-minute goal came too late for Union.

Frankfurt traveled with the meager record of two defeats in two away games in the Bundesliga against Leipzig and Augsburg to Berlin. And harmony would soon have fallen behind in the Union, too. After six minutes Marvin Friedrich failed after a flat corner with a shot from close range to Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. With a surprising variant, Union had already taken the lead on matchday three against BVB and celebrated its first Bundesliga victory.

The Eintracht, which rotates since the departure of Sébastien Haller, Luka Jovic and Ante Rebic on the offensive, sat against the promoted to Dost and Silva. The two additions, which were previously started only together in the 0-3 in the Europa League against Arsenal, harmonized: In the 16th minute Dost cut a pass from the Berliner and promoted the ball to Silva, but in a duel with goalkeeper Rafael Gikiewicz was too hesitant. Shortly before the break, the Union keeper rescued again strongly against a header by Silva (43.).

In the second half, the strike duo was more successful: In the 48th minute Dost was with the long leg on the spot, as Gikiewicz could defend a shot by Filip Kostic only in the middle, just under a quarter of an hour later headed Silva on the cross from Djibril Sow the second Hits (62.).

But Frankfurt could not only rely on his strike duo, also goalkeeper Trapp contributed his part to the success, for example, as he fished in the 75th minute in flight a shot of Sheraldo Becker from the far corner. Ujah met after his substitution Although the connection (86th), but the draw was no longer enough for Union.
