SC Paderborn - Bayern Munich 2: 3 (0: 1)

It has taken six games, now FC Bayern is at the top of the Bundesliga. The Munich showed three days before the Champions League match at Tottenham already with the grid, how seriously they took the game in the promoted. And the favorite would have had to lead clearly early, but Robert Lewandowski (7th minute), Philippe Coutinho (8) and Kingsley Coman (13) awarded in promising positions. Serge Gnabry did better - the international scored in the 15th minute. Paderborn remained in the offensive direction, but came only by an accidental return of Thiago to score a chance (24).

Bayern coach Niko Kovac had already changed twice during the break, with Tottenham sparing Thiago and Lucas Hernández, and Javi Martínez and Alphonso Davies. After a 2-0 by Coutinho, who met after a worthwhile chip pass from Joshua Kimmich and a cross pass from Gnabry into the empty net (55.), the game seemed decided. But Kai Pröger (68) and Jamilu Collins (84) let Paderborn hope with their goals. Goalkeeper Lewandowski scored in the meantime, however, his tenth goal of the season (79th).

RB Leipzig - FC Schalke 1: 3 (0: 2)

The winning streak of FC Schalke continues. In previous league leaders Leipzig won last year's relegation candidate, drew on points equal to RB - and made the way for Bayern to the top. First, the Royal Blues were lucky, as Marcel Sabitzer for Leipzig hit only the crossbar (15) and a few seconds later on strongly reacts Alexander Nübel failed.

But otherwise Schalke was defensively secure and took the few chances to score effectively. Salif Sané first hit a header (29 '), shortly before the break Amine Harit converted a penalty. The strong Moroccan had been fouled by Amadou Haidara. Referee Manuel Gräfe had watched the scene in the Review Area for a long time and decided on a penalty after more than two minutes.

Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann increased with the beginning of the second half the risk, which also led to some chances to score. But in the backward movement, the guests got so much space and Rabbi Matondo took one of these counter-attacks to his first Bundesliga goal (59.). Nübel helped Leipzig with a mistake to the goal, goal scorer was Emil Forsberg (84).

TSG Hoffenheim - Borussia Mönchengladbach 0: 3 (0: 1)

Borussia have also won the third away game of the season. Hoffenheim is waiting for the second success under new coach Alfred Schreuder and remains with five points in the lower midfield of the table. After preliminary work by Marcus Thuram his French countryman Alassane Pléa scored the opening goal (43.). After the break it was Thuram who hit a left-foot shot after a solo in the Hoffenheim penalty area (65 '). The final point was Florian Neuhaus (83.).

FC Augsburg - Bayer Leverkusen 0: 3 (0: 1)

On the scoresheet were at FC Augsburg with Alfred Finnbogason and Florian Niederlechner two strikers. But there was no sign of an offensive attitude in the home game against Bayer Leverkusen for a long time. The guests dominated the game, had more than 80 percent possession until the break and took an own goal from Niederlechner in the lead (35.). The second goal was strange: A long pass was intended for Kai Havertz, Augsburg goalkeeper Tomas Koubek wanted to catch the ball and came far out of his goal. Havertz got the ball involuntarily on the back, Koubek therefore could not intervene and so lopsided Kevin Volland from 30 meters into the empty box (76th). Havertz scored the third goal (84th).

FSV Mainz - VfL Wolfsburg 0: 1 (0: 1)

The crisis of FSV Mainz continues. After the Cup against Kaiserslautern and only one victory from five Bundesliga games followed against Wolfsburg another home defeat. VfL took the lead early on, after a short corner Marcel Tisserand scored for the team of coach Oliver Glasner (9th). In the final phase referee Felix Brych sent the Mainz coach Sandro Schwarz with yellow-red in the stands.
