Syria's youth football team will start its Asian Cup qualifying campaign tomorrow with its Lebanese counterpart at 2 pm in Tajikistan in Group C, which also includes the teams of Tajikistan and Maldives.
The team will meet with the Maldives on Friday and the conclusion of the qualifiers on the tenth of the same month with the Tajikistan team.
During the press conference, our coach Samer Bastanli said: "We think about each game separately and we are interested in the beginning to overcome the Lebanese team."
For his part, the Lebanese coach Roy Abi Elias said that the preparation period for his team was not good, expecting that the qualification card will be limited between Tajikistan and Syria, pointing to the difficulty of the opening game.
The qualifying system provides for the qualification of the 11 group champions and the top four teams in second place.
