Liverpool beat Salzburg 4-0 at home in an exciting Champions League Group E match.
At the Anfield, Liverpool went ahead in the ninth minute through Sadio Mane and left-back Andy Robertson made it 2-0 in the 25th minute and the clash seemed to end when Mohamed Salah added the third 11 minutes later.
However, the Austrian team gave themselves some hope with a goal through South Korean striker Huang He Chan six minutes before halftime and Salzburg pulled one back with a shot from Japanese striker Takumi Minamino in the 56th minute before fans at Anfield struck again four minutes later.
Minamino sent the ball in front of the goal to turn the 19-year-old substitute Erling Halland easily into the net but Salah gave the three points to the hosts in the 69th minute after scoring his second goal after a pass from Roberto Firmino.
With their first win in the group stage, Liverpool are second in the group with three points, one point behind Napoli, who drew 0-0 with Genk earlier in the day, while Salzburg also have three points after crushing Belgian Genk 6-2 in their opening match.
